Mica-Insulated Barrel Band Heater
Two-piece heaters with flange, strap or trunion lockup are used for applications where clearing obstacles and clamping two 180º sections is required. Two-piece heaters may be constructed narrow and wide. Because of limited heating surface and location of screw terminals, heater with a diameter of less than 4"ID are usually not specified as two-piece. Consult with an IHCO Engineer regarding suitability of two-piece band heaters for your application.

Over the years IHCO has manufactured replacement heaters for various machines manufactured in Europe and the Pacific- injection molding, extruders, packaging, decorating, thermoforming, wire-processing, and many other machines.
We also work with many European and Pacific OEM, and supply their United States and South American customers with replacement heaters. As a result, we offer replacement heaters for a wide range of machines (subject to any proprietary rights agreements with OEM). In addition, IHCO manufactures heaters with European style pin contacts and quick disconnect plugs. IHCO is a national distributor for those and other European style connecting devices.
